Master Thesis project: Identify key growth opportunities in sustainable source chemistry and plastics
The Master Thesis project is a 4-month market and in-depth chemistry study, starting in January 2015 and ending with a report in May 2015. Writing language is English. Student will be provided with company supervisor and sufficient support.
Identify strategic key growth opportunities in sustainable source chemistry and plastics for Dow within the Nordic region. Verify governmental strategy in the area of sustainable source chemistry and plastics. Identify regional key players in the field- both established companies and start-ups. Scope market trends, review the technologies and raw material streams arising from the potential sustainable source chemistry and plastics opportunities and match this with the company’s current product and market scope.
Identify the long and short term market opportunity among Nordics key players in the area of sustainable chemistry and plastics. Thoroughly understand the value and raw material chains and match this with the company’s current market and asset capabilities.
This position will be located in Landskrona Sweden where Dow has a manufacturing unit. The project provides participants the opportunity to learn more about Dow through the completion of a business project.
