About the Thesis

Logotypes are everywhere today. To gain knowledge about where logotypes are present could be used to measure a brand’s reach and visibility in different regions. While investigating a single brand's reach another interesting topic is to investigate different groups of logotypes reach. As an example investigating the reach of all car brands. This project is investigating how recognition of different logotypes and groups of logotypes can be done. Focusing both on how to gather sufficient training data and evaluating the system’s performance. Using different machine learning algorithms and evaluating their performances during the training phase makes it possible to find the most suitable algorithm.
