Internship/Master thesis project in Computer Vision/Machine Learning

ManoMotion develops camera-based technology for tracking hands and recognising gestures in 3D. This internship or master's thesis project focuses on computer vision and machine learning methods for these tasks. The goal is to implement the developed methods for real-time interaction in XR applications.

The assignment

• Develop vision-based and machine learning methods for 3D hand tracking and gesture recognition.
• Implement the developed methods to support real-time interaction in XR applications.

Who we are looking for

• Master's-level education or equivalent experience in computer science, computer vision, machine learning, image analysis or a related field.
• Experience developing vision-based solutions with machine learning or deep learning tools and frameworks.
• Strong programming skills in Python or C++.
• Knowledge of computer vision, particularly object detection and tracking.
• An independent approach to problem-solving and strong teamwork skills.
